Identification via microchip
Microchips are a «gold mine» for identification. Microchips cannot be lost, never wear out and are designed to last a lifetime. They are also easy to find and track.
The microchip is a «device» the size and shape of a grain of rice, enclosed in a surgical glass capsule, intended to be implanted under the animal’s skin and remain there for the rest of its life.
The microchip is usually inserted into the neck area with the help of a special syringe in which it is incorporated. Even small puppies will react no worse to this procedure than when they are vaccinated.

Owners provide information that is inserted into the microchip and stored in a pet recovery database.
This microchip is scanned with the microchip reader, a process similar to scanning the barcodes of various products in supermarkets. The scan does not harm the animal.
The microchips transmit specific frequencies like a small radio station, and the scanner must be «tuned» correctly to read the information.
In Romania, since 2014 (March 15) Microchipping of owner-occupied dogs is required by law (law no. 258/2013). In order to vaccinate our puppy against rabies (a deadly disease that can also be transmitted to humans), it is mandatory that he be implanted with a microchip, as veterinarians cannot vaccinate dogs without a microchip, and the anti-rabies vaccine is also required by law.
