If these tips don’t work and your dog hasn’t overcome motion sickness, there are a few remedies you can try.
The same medicine that humans take to combat motion sickness also works in dogs. Dramamine is considered safe for most healthy adult dogs.
Ginger is a natural nausea remedy that you can try giving to your dog. Ginger capsules are easy to find in health food stores and many pharmacies. Chickens under 7 pounds can safely take in 250 milligrams or less of ginger, while chickens over 7 pounds can usually take in up to 500 milligrams of ginger.

Additionally, you can offer pups dog-friendly versions of ginger biscuits. Eating biscuits in the car can be a good positive association even for young dogs.
