Tips for making dog biscuits

Flour the surface before rolling out the dough
For insensitive dogs you can use wheat flour for flouring. Of course, corn, spelled, rye flours or pseudocereal flours such as quinoa or amaranth are also possible. You can use these alternatives if, for example, your dog: B. does not tolerate wheat.
Roll out the dough without flour

Lotti’s favorite coconut cookie mix
For the basic version of this baking mix, the only other ingredients needed are water and coconut milk. Place the baking mixture in a large bowl, add 90 ml of water and 80 g of coconut milk. Mix everything until you obtain a smooth and non-sticky dough. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to a thickness of approx. 0.5cm. Cut out the biscuits using the provided bone cutters and bake the biscuits in a preheated oven at 175°C or 155°C for approximately 20 – 30 minutes – done!

Recipe tip variant 1: Lotti’s favorite snack biscuits, coconut mix and natural yoghurt
Replace the coconut milk with 5 tablespoons of natural yogurt and add 90 ml of water. The temperatures and cooking times are identical to the basic recipe.
Recipe tip variant 2: Lotti’s favorite snack biscuits, coconut mix and North Sea crabs
Add 2 tablespoons shelled North Sea crabs, plus the cake mix, to 90ml water and 80g coconut milk. As for cooking time, stick to the lower limit of 20 minutes so the crabs don’t burn.
Lotti’s favorite biscuit mix, carrot
All you need for this baking dough is the addition of water and linseed oil. Everything else is already included in the mix. Pour the cooking mixture into a bowl, add 225 ml of water and a spoonful of linseed oil.
Mix the ingredients until you obtain a dough that does not stick, then roll out the dough on a floured surface to a thickness of about 0.5 cm. You can then cut out the biscuits and bake them in a preheated oven at 175 °C (top/bottom heat) or 155 °C (fan oven) for approx. 20 – 30 minutes. After cooling down, it’s time to let your four-legged friend have fun!

Add 4 tablespoons of diced ham, water and oil to the baking mixture and mix everything as described in the basic recipe. You will just have to use a little more force when cutting the biscuits due to the fibers in the meat. Cooking times and temperatures correspond to those indicated in the basic recipe. Your dog will probably be in front of the oven while it is baking, because the biscuits give off an irresistible ham smell while cooking and are very popular.
Variant recipe suggestion 2: Lotti’s favorite biscuits, carrot and ricotta mix
Add 4 tablespoons ricotta, 1 tablespoon linseed oil and approx. 180 – 200 ml of water for the cooking mixture. Mix everything until you obtain a dough and continue as described in the basic recipe.
